We are a fourth generation family business. Almost 100 years ago Alfred Earl left school at 14 to work in the quarries.

Since then the Earl family has acquired Sycamore Quarry, Marksend, Bridge & Winberry Moss Quarries. From the early days of picks, wedges, hammers and chisels, the quarries are now fully modernised with the latest CNC saws, excavators and loading shovels.
